We are currently seeking a strongly motivated Mobile developer that will work remotely but based in Italy.
We would expect the successful candidate to have proven working experience in mobile applications development in order to join our team.
In AmplifonX, we design and develop applications for a wide range of customer base, starting from our health care professionals to our health care technicians, and finally products designed for our clients.
Several applications that help in the hearing loss diagnostics, other products that raise the awareness of audiological health, and finally the main application that is used on a day-to-day basis to manage the personal hearing-aid.
We aspire to building applications using modern state of the art development technologies and frameworks, in both native and hybrid development environments. Joining our team, you will be working alongside other developers, product owners, and various stakeholders working on different layers of the applications’ structure and delivery. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a keen eye for details is essential.
You will be working with individuals who are passionate about technology and healthcare, designing and delivering the most innovative products in the Audiology Industry.
Main responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native applications that meet user requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to translate concepts and requirements into high-quality efficient code.
- Work independently and take ownership of tasks, demonstrating a high level of autonomy.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
What you’ll need
- At least 5 years work experience developing native mobile Applications.
- Proficiency in iOS development using Swift programming language.
- Excellent knowledge of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Animation, Core Graphics.
- Experience with Android development using Java/Kotlin.
- Experience using modern Android development frameworks.
- Experience with Auto Layout and responsive design principles.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best coding practices.
- Strong understanding of iOS concurrency techniques.
- Experience in functional, asynchronous, object-oriented, and protocol-oriented programming.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Objective-C e/o SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with design patterns and clean code principles.
- Familiarity with modern iOS frameworks like combine, Swift Concurrency.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and memory management issues.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and staying up to date with the latest mobile development trends and best practices.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Personal/Organisational skills

- B2 level English proficiency.

Full remote working. Based in Italy. Willing to travel, most of the time within the Italian territory.
