Join IMG.LY as a Working Student: Product Maintenance Engineer (Android/Web/iOS). In this role, you will ensure the ongoing success and reliability of our renowned PE.SDK and VE.SDK products. You will have the opportunity to work on leading software development kits, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability for users globally.

1. Product Maintenance: Focus on the ongoing maintenance of our existing PE.SDK and VE.SDK products, identifying and resolving bugs to enhance user experience.
2. Cross-Platform Collaboration: Apply your skills across Android, Web, and iOS platforms to maintain our native SDKs and Wrappers.
3. Quality Assurance: Employ systematic testing strategies to efficiently identify and resolve bugs.
4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our support staff, contribute to the solution design process, and provide indirect customer support through team interactions.
5. Deep Dive: Engage in a thorough exploration of an existing and legendary product, offering fascinating insights and learning opportunities.
6. Industry Awareness: Keep abreast of the latest developments, guidelines, and changes in the iOS and Android ecosystems that may impact our products.
7. Problem Solving: Decipher core issues and reproduce customer-reported bugs, working closely with the support team for indirect consultations with customers.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program related to computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following areas: Android development, Web development, iOS development. Additional knowledge of Flutter, React, and ReactNative is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, especially in identifying and solving bugs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to learning and personal growth in the field of software development.
• Proximity to Bochum, Gelsenkirchen, or Essen is desired, though remote work flexibility is offered.

How the hiring process works:
The hiring process begins with a 30-minute discussion focused on cultural fit and introducing IMG.LY as an organisation, conducted by our People Experience Manager. Following this, you may receive a "take-home" coding assignment, estimated to require about three hours to complete. Should your submission meet our standards, the next step involves a code review and technical discussion with potential future colleagues. This is followed by meetings with both your prospective Team Lead and our CEO. After these steps, we will proceed to the decision-making phase.
