Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Mobile Software Development Engineer, Android.  This position will allow you to build native Mobile applications in Kotlin for Android.
  Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop and implement Native Mobile applications for Android
  • Collaborate with adjacent software teams and take direction from the Engineering manager to research, design, and development of native mobile applications
  • Provide insight into the project lifecycle: estimating based on requirements, architecture, code design, code development, code reviews, testing, deployment
  • Deliver new Feature development on existing Mobile applications
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in Native Mobile software development, Android (Kotlin)
  • Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Development (OOD) concepts in high level programming languages such as Kotlin (Java , Objective C)
  • Experience working on Agile teams with Scrum
  • Hands-on working knowledge with native tools and frameworks in Android Studio, Kotlin, Compose
  • Kotlin Multi Platform (KMP)
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services, JSON/XML data structures and JSON API
  • Knowledge of design patterns pertaining to native Mobile Application Development
  • Ability to deliver well designed, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Preference for a fast-paced, high performance work environment
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. git)
  • Experience integrating with third party APIs
Nice to have:
  • Published Mobile apps or worked on open-source mobile projects in the past
